Course Materials
Canvas - I will use Canvas, which is the UVU online LMS for posting grades on all assignments and we will explore and use a few of the tools available there for assignments, such as discussions. You log into this using your UV ID through the UVLink system.
Course Wiki - The content for the course, as well as examples of the assignments, will be posted on this wiki, available at: LittleEdEl2200.wikispaces.com
Individual Wikis - Each student will create their own wikispaces wiki for posting assignments. I will evaluate and comment on your work on your individual wiki. We will create this in class.
Grading
Assignments have individual point values which contribute 90% to the the overall grade. In addition, 10% of your grade comes from attendance. There is no final examination for this class.
A = 93%
A- = 90%
B+ = 86%
B = 83%
B- = 80%
C+ = 76%
C = 73%
C- = 70%
E = below 70%

The School of Education computer lab provides access to all the computer hardware and software required to complete this course. Some class time will be provided to work on assignments. However, you should plan on spending out of class time in the computer lab during the semester to complete assignments. How much time you spend on out of class assignments depends on your skill level of technology. Note: there are computer labs throughout the campus for student use.
